I spent my unscheduled class period senior year as a volunteer in the school library. I was and still am an avid reader and remember the librarian's recommendation.(not her name). the book was The Diary of Ann Frank. I am am among the millions of young and old readers impacted by the book.
I am a member of Friends of the Library. I belong to 2 book clubs and thoroughly enjoy the lively discussions(sometimes there is whine and wine). We have many volunteer activities.One of our fund raisers is baking and selling Book-Drop cookies.You can contact me for this recipe.Volunteer,read travel,visit your grandchildren.! Do what ever " floats your boat" and tell us about it.
